Trust.

I see that look in your eyes, It tells a million lies.


You see that girl, yea her. She seems so invincible right? But just touch her and she'll flinch. She has secrets and she trusts no one. She's the perfect example of betrayal. Cause everyone she trusted, broke her.

Sometimes you've got to be hurt before you can move on, and that makes you stronger. But at other times you get hurt, and you can never trust again.

I've learned that it takes years to build up trust, and it only takes suspicion, not proof to destroy it.

Ignorance leaves the heart open, trust leads it to a past to be broken.

People ask me why it's so hard to trust people, and I ask them why it's so hard to keep a promise.

You can either trust people until they fail you, or distrust people until they're proven trustworthy.
